How It Works:

  1. The consumer presents a completed check to the Merchant.

   2. Merchant deposits the check into their bank account.

   3. Merchant’s bank presents the check to consumer’s bank for payment.

   4. The check is returned NSF from the consumer’s bank and the Merchant's         

        bank account is debited for the returned item.

   5. Uncollected/NSF items are placed into Nexcheck’s re-presentment process and all         other returns are placed immediately in Nexcheck’s secondary collections.  

6. All checks collected will be paid to the merchant by ACH at 100%.

Customer Benefits:

• Around 85% of all NSF checks are collected within the first two weeks.
• Customer always receives 100% of the check amount.
• Returns are sent directly to Nexcheck for immediate collections.
• Nexcheck handles: Collection calls, letters, disputes and reporting.
